i'm not even gonna touch the lyrics, interpretaion varies by the user. i just enjoy the organized "chaos". the song starts simple and innocent (like we all do), and the comes the confusion (thank you, mr. president). As the song progresses to the lyrics it takes on a form unlike the "standard", a much more "classical" base. any way, the utmost awesome/peak of the song, the "bridge". well, it can represent the band playin' their song (or four people in conversation). the only way to descibe it is to lay it down like this.
imagine 4 lights, that "blink" at different tempos (the amount of time it takes to react to a cause, or effect). (maybe the illustartion of circling may may make it easier to visuallize).
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
.... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... ....
the "lights" blink in a seemingly chaotic fashion, but the organization of it makes it the cause/effect.
until the breakdown, in which everyone jams to the simplicity of it all, until the very end. 4 lights, 1 source, everyone watches, until the very end.
