What if all your opinions were wrong, because Maynard just threw a heap of shit together when he wrote his lyrics. What would you do?

it doesn't matter if we are wrong or right. tool's songs were made to be open for interpretation. what matters is if we get something out of the songs whether it be it's original meaning or one you just came up with that you can identify with.

Well... our opinions can't really be wrong they? Then they wouldn't be opinions.
But even if it was all random, well... that's a pretty big coincidence... that's sort of like saying Radiohead's Kid A & Amnesiac albums fit together perfectly as a single album just out of chance...

I would be slightly devestated but, then i would just forget about it eventually because i don't agree with everything he writes about. They are just songs that are meant to be interpreted however the listener reacts to it.
