thanks. none of them have vocals except for a remix i made for somebody but those are his vocals. i don't really write lyrics or sing.

I liked the intro a lot. Very cool and atmospheric. You also managed to keep me interested for most of the second part of the song. The outro is definately very good too, lets out the tension nicely.
Its gotta be difficult to keep the flow of things for that amount of time, but I think you've done pretty well.

What inspires you?
In the intro I hear a sort of pink floyd style sound, which I like a lot, and also traces of Tool in the second section. I'm not saying you copied (the resemblances are only faint, and you've obviously come up with a different kind of sound)...

Enjoyed listening.

Thank you very much. I've never had any feedback that detailed. I thank you for taking the time. :)

I'm basically inspired by detailed music a la aphex twin, tool, and others. I'm not saying I try to recreate them, but that's what I try to draw from them. The intro is a stripped down version of the first riff of the second second section. It does hit one of the same chords as "goodbye blue sky" by pink floyd and I was questioning keeping that riff because of it. hehe. I'm not much of a floyd fan but I'm getting into them more over the past year.

Tool and Alice In Chains are a pretty big influence on what I make so hearing Tool similarities is highly possible. There is one part in the last section that turned out sounding really Tool-rip-offish, but I decided to keep it. :)
