I know a lot of you have been searching for the meaning of this song. Well...I think I found it. I was randomly searching Tool lyrics, and I found this.

According to a site I went to, someone translated these lyrics:

Una Infinitas Abominatio Nascitur Autumno
hic est tuum temptamen quod temptat tua potentia
viginti tres gradus ad summam potestatem

And this is what it turned out to be:

One infinity
the horror begins in autumn
this is your trial, which tries your power/might/ability/efficiancy/potency
twenty three steps till total power

Now I'm not sure if it's legit or not, but it seems that way to me. Opinions?

Interesting... but I don't know if I hear that many words. This track is so mysterious, but I will say that this seems at least a tad more probable than most everything else I've heard. I'd like to know how they extrapolated that from the music, and futhermore what it would actually mean if that's what is indeed being said.

It's from an old game.

Well, I think you only hear that if you play the song backwards. I noticed that too though. The translation (whether It's true or not) creeps me out, and also makes me wonder about August as a prediction for some future Tool album....Hmmnnn..

I think that plays quite well into my whole freemason theory

I'd be interested in that theory.

Hey mkean, did you check out the "ASCISCO" thread on TDN? That may also help you with your search.
