Nope, you're not the only one! Looks like a possibility for me. How did you get your tickets? Through Teleticket service? Their website keep giving me a security/certificate warning and I am a bit reluctant to use it.

Any chance that Tool and Henry Rollins will perform Bottom?

Well, I'm lucky enough to have a Belgian friend who I'm sending the money to and she's going to pick them up from one of the shops selling them.
I do know some people who ordered their tickets online the last time they went, so I can enquire if you'd like?

Well, I don't think its impossible. If it happened, that would be truly wonderful.

Got my tickets delivered to my door today- woohoo!

I used Teleticketservice online. Everything went faily smooth except my credit card co delcined the purchase on the first attempt. I called them and got it straightened out. Took only 10 days to get them after the order confirmed. Not bad.

Damn, Tool in Europe, this is gonna be great!

we'll be there for sure !

I read they played Flood recently, was it one time thing or have they been playing it frequently in latest US tour ?

Would love to hear that live

They've played Flood upward of 10 times, or so. It's about even with the frequency of Right in Two on this US leg. I wonder if Pushit will return in Europe, though?

I hope Pushit makes it back. Seems like they have stopped playing that one in favor of Flood or Right In Two. That said, I have yet to see Flood performed so if I have at a choice at Pukkelpop, I hope they do that one.

Full schedule for Pukkelpop is up now at the website. They have Tool playing from 12:00am-1:10am. Since there is obviously no curfew and Tool is the last act on the main stage, I sure hope they go longer than an hour and 10 minutes! That's WAY too short.

hmm i hope so too..
i really have no idea of what we can expect from that show.
i love all tool albums/songs but still i kinda hope they change the setlist somewhat.
the things they play now are really amazing, though i'd like to see some changes..
oh well, we'll just wait & see i guess.
you guys have any experience with the sound at Pukkelpop?
ive been there twice but its already 2-3 years ago.
Where are the best places to view them? in front or somewhat back?

Couple of thoughts-

First, I have been to several festivals where Tool is the headliner. Expect it to be a complete zoo. I personally have found that seeing Tool up close, and seeing them a ways back (the sound booth for example) is about the same. It's nice to be up close I suppose, but the sound is much better a ways from the stage. You can decide which is best. I have been thinking about it and I am pretty sure I am going to camp up close to Adam's side of the stage for this show. Let me know if you are up for that and we can hook up.

As for the set length, since they have started doing Wings 1&2 (at their first show in LA), they have yet to NOT do it on the 10,000 Days tour. That part of their show takes about 25 minutes total. If they really only have an hour and 10 minutes at Pukkelpop, then we are going to get a relatively short set. I still don't think they will be on stage any less than 90 minutes. They have yet to play for a shorter time than that on this tour.

I was thinking in the same way. Further away = relatively better sound but less view and Close = less sound but better view. So i think im gonna choose for the amazing view, because i think i remember that Pukkelpop's sound is very good overall.
So i'll see you in front =)

Well, at the Big Day Out shows in January they didn't play "Wings". I was really surprised that they played it at Summerfest in July. It's hard to say if they will play it or not. I'm thinking back to some Ozzfest shows of '02, somethimes they played "Disposition/Reflection" and sometimes they didn't.

You got it dude- Adam's side. I'll let you know how to ID me once the day gets closer.

Huh- I stand corrected then! I really thought they had not had any shows with Wings once they started doing it. My guess is that they will most likely do it here too, in spite of the proposed amount of time they supposedly are being given (I still think it goes 90 minutes).

Wings 1&2 are probably my favorite live songs by Tool, but to be honest I would not mind at all this around if they want to drop and maybe do Flood and Pushit, along with the rest of the normal set list. Also hoping for Right In Two- that song rocks live!

Just saw that Pukkelpop has added a Comedy stage to the proceedings. This festival sure sounds interesting.

I'm going.

And I really really hope they play longer than an hour and ten minutes. Doesn't feel like they can fit too many of their songs in that timeslot. They played 2 hours the last time I saw em, and the schedule said an hour and a half that time. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I have been chatting about this issue over at the Pukkelpop boards. My understanding is the promoters of the festival adhere pretty strictly to the schedule.

That said, there is a lot of time between Tool and NIN and Tool is the last band of the final night on the main stage. If I were a betting man (and I am) I'd say we get the usual 1 hour 30 minutes Tool does at outdoor festivals.

Welp, touchdown in Europe. Amsterdam to be exact. Plane leaves for Belgium in about an hour. Keeping fingers crossed they play.

1. I hope they play (with the Austrian show cancelled due to throat infection)
2. If they play, I hope the set changes somewhat ... I am really dissapointed with the setlist of this leg of the tour ...

Not heard anything new. I guess that could be seen as good news altho.

I will say this much- last time Maynard had a problem like this during the 10,000 Days tour, they only lost one show. Vocalists have always been a weird and eccentric lot so one day they're on death's doorstep, and the next- who knows?

Let's see what happens- I say odds are 50/50.
