the film begins with sort of a dusty film covering everything.....and it makes everything the same color. the overall atmosphere is very bland.....no color....black and white. now.....the man in this film has his eyes closed at all times....and the female in this.....represents a part of himself.....the anima....maybe an inner guide.....she touches his stomach.....and all these images are revealed....of deformed people....maybe inferior parts of himself....after being shown these things....he sheds his skin.....the way a snake would....coming out of the old going into the new.....attaining a higher awareness.....a crisper view of things.....the female puts her thumb under his eyelid....pulling it open a little.....helping him to see a little more......and there's these three chambers with the female in each of them....he's opening these doors and seeing her. by the end the piece of his back that he removed and kept in a jar has mutated into a creature and it's on his back speaking into his ear......maybe like an inner voice. this film makes me think of stages of self-discovery......psychedelic voyages....things like that.
