I believe this song is about the duality of human kind and the relationship that goes on between it. Less abstractly though it talks about brothers of society dueling it out and looking for someone to blame. The Christians blame the Romans, the Romans blamed the jews etc. But the key thing is that there is a peaceful calm to it all, because there was a point when we all got along, we just weren’t trying to conquer one another.
“Doomed to crumble unless we grow, and strengthen our communication.” This basically says that we’re going to die out in extinction by our own fault unless we learn to recognize our faults and stop coveting one another.
