No comment on the paranoic style.

Maynard himself, when asked a question like that (in a more gentle way, though) said it's impossible, because he prepares for the shows in different ways. Fullstop.

TOOL PLAYS FIRST THEN A PERFECT CIRCLE

As sweet as that might be, it will probably never happen... But IF they did play together, APC would be opening for Tool!

given the nature of the bands, i would say that we would be more likely to see a Jim Morrison led band of all-stars with Jimi Hendrix on guitar. The philosophies at work would never allow such a spectacle to take place. The two bands represent two wholly separate entities of thought, give them a good hard listen. Moderators?? Also, there is no way TOOL would open for APC, that may be the most asanine portion of your suggestion.

Yea I guess I do have it backwards first APC then Tool. Either way it would kick ass. So Krizz you must have asked maynard HIMSELF right. Who's too say they couldnt play together thats just your opinion. I know its highly unlikely But if it were to happen it would go down in histoy as one of the best concerts ever.

Why doesn't cocaine play a show with heroine?

What is so bad about this post? I swear man, Tool people are so ....

It would be cool if APC opened for Tool for a short tour or something. If they come from two totally different types (entities) of thought, like you say, then it would make it even more of an artistic project.

The only problem I could see would be Maynards voice and energy. I don't know that he could do two sets in a row night after night. The closest thing we may ever see is Tool covering an APC song or vice versa.

i have to agree with flipmojo and moto, APC and tool are the bands i listen to most and after that NIN i think APC and tool would be a highly memorable concert maybe more then most tool concerts just cause you got to see maynad twice as much. More maynard is, more maynard.

Ahhh yes!
The ultimate experience.
They could always relese a double live CD or DVD or something instead though.
That would be totally swarve...

Yea it would be great. But i have generally noticed that the crowds for the two bands are very different.

Tool crowds seem a lot more... black. Black shirts, black hair, black moods. They either sit there calmley of go nuts, normally the latter.

A Perfect Circle crowds are generally a lot more upbeat. Commercial, happy and brighter. More of a casual crowd.

Would love to see the audience that the concert would attract. You could expect a mixture of the two, mainly Tool though.

Good stuff if it happened. Even though the topic may be spam

nevermind the fact the maynard has lead vocals in both bands. that's alot of singing and screaming in one night. derp!
