Bass Effects

I have been wondering (since i got a bass) what effect is used in the "jimmy" song at the part where Maynard is sing "By inch by loaded memory" Post it if you have it...or if it even exists.

i don't think i heard any effect on it. i usually play that one clean or with slight overdrive. but then again, for that specific part i just kinda screw with the lower D cause i don't know exactly what justin plays. go for ambience as best you can is my advice.
