This one is about how anger and holding grudges can make you feel like a king, but instead it will "drag you down like a stone". Where do stones drag you down? ...in water! Grudges will put you back in that Undertow cycle. (Thus, go back 2 discs in your changer and listen to 4 Degrees and Flood -- you might as well go back under if you're trying to control everything.

He's saying that you can choose to let go of a grudge, you're holding on to the corner stone of a large structure, that you're trying to prevent from falling. You hold on to the grudge because you're desperate for control, but it will consume you until you let it go, which is a choice you have.

Very good analogy, never thought of it that way.

when we hold a grudge, we tell ourselves "clutch it like a corner stone, otherwise it all comes down." as if to say..."hold onto it and it'll be ok." This is one of the denials we justify.

we deny the fact that we're holding onto something that needs to be free, needs to be let go in order to flourish. we tell ouselves that it's ok to hold this grudge...we can't see that it's ignorant and destructive.

careless. we grip our denials to the "lonesome end" ...if we choose to let our hatred and ignorant grudge consume us, we will be dragged down, we will end up alone, with nothing but negativity and our cold fated anchor (which is the grudge).

the grudge holds us down, as an anchor would.

i hope this made sense :)
