When I was 32 I came to realize that I'm going to live to be 96.
I read in a book that an average human life can be divided into thirds of 28 years each.
so 28, then 56(2/3rds), then 84, representing a healthy life.
Since I was 32 on this particular night, I thought how 32 is 23 reversed which I was born on July 23, therefore, significant.

It was all coming together.

This song is performed at almost every show b/c of the importance of the message in the song. Not because it's so dam popular. I've said before that Tool plays 46 & 2 a lot b/c their music is constantly evolving and growing, which falls in line with the theme. The personal growth aspect is also why it strikes a chord with the majority of fans.

I'll never get tired or burnt out on this song.
