I will get tickets to this show if it's the last thing I do as I have yet to attend a TOOL concert.

For those of you who have been to a concert at the Gwinnett Arena, which seats are the best looking at this seating chart?

Yup, it's the closest venue to me aside from Bonnaroo in June. I'll be going most likely.

PLEASE HELP ME....DIDN'T KNOW WHERE ELSE TO PUT THIS:

i am going to sign up for a tool army account in order to get presale tickets and i have questions since i couldnt find the answers on the site:

1. can i get presale tickets with the $40 membership?
2. how many tickets can i get with each account?
3. how does the presale work?
- where do i get the tickets from (ticketmaster, tool army, etc)
- if i sign up for the membership like the day before the presale, will i be automatically given something so i can get the tickets?
- i am getting tickets for this concert and greenville so how can i do this the fastest (i know ticketmaster wont let you search for different tickets simutaneously on the same account)
- also, please give tips on how to get the tickets the fastest (what should i expect when the presale starts as far as entering information and whatnot)

I've never seen Tool live. I'm going to either this show or the Winston-Salem, NC show. I also have 3 maybe 4 friends going. What would be the best route to get tickets? (besides ToolArmy) I'm assuming it will be a battle to acquire some.

TOOL TOUR TO BE RESCHEDULED

Tool Tour To Be Rescheduled

Los Angeles, CA - February 21, 2007 - Tool will be rescheduling their upcoming North American tour due to an injury in the band. Over the weekend, drummer Danny Carey tore a bicep. Danny underwent surgery TODAY and is recovering well. Rescheduled tour dates will be announced shortly.

(Note: Danny just got out of surgery and it went well)

Whats the quality of the Gwinnett center? I know the few concerts I've been too in Atlanta that were in a large venue have been awful, but I haven't been to the Gwinnett center, if it suppose to suck I'll probably drive up to South Carolina and see the show there.

I wouldn't exactly called the Gwinnett center a large venue. It seats like 12,000. Its like a mini arena.

It's a medium sized venue. I saw APC there in 2004, great show, even from the seats. My friend and I are going to this once it's rescheduled (Hopefully Danny gets feeling better soon.), as we've both been major Tool fans for years and years, and have never had the chance to see them live.

Edit: If you go, look for the blue truck with the Tool (Aenima style) vinyl on the back window. That'll be us.

Same here... I hope they reschedule this mugg!

this show might not be rescheduled:

1. recent toolband posts suggest a quick recovery

2. None of the April dates have been taken off of toolband

- I would immagine if they knew for sure that the april dates would be canceled, they would have been deleted with the early March dates. Why otherwise would you only delete some? I think April is still a possibility.

By the way, I've been to the Gwinnett Arena.. I saw Dream Theater there in August, 2005. Its a really nice arena, but the food is outrageously expensive.

Ok ... so am I to Assume that the floor is not general admission. I have never hear of such a thing for a Tool show or any other Hard Rock/Metal show for that matter.

My floor tickets bought at 10:00AM for Greenville are listed as "Floor Seating" FL3 Row L. Does this mean that Tickets *in seats* are being sold for the floor? What About General Admission?

From what I know of the floor arrangement, it's to make it harder for folks to purchase high numbers of floor seats in one order. i.e. you're much more likely to get 6 floor tickets for an open floor section than you are 6 floor seats when the sections are separated off. I've been to the Gwinnett Arena several times and never seen actual seating in the floor sections, but I guess it's possible.

All you fags who want to mosh at a tool concert need to stay home and cut your wrists. The band clearly wants seats there were seats on the floor last time I saw them not too long ago. A band like Tool can give a phenomenal performance based on the vibe they get from the crowd and if you want to mosh then Tool is just going to play the songs and get out of there. IF you want to make a connection with the band try to realize they don't want your "dumbass moshing kid that only likes sober" even in the crowd.

Seats are a good idea, you dumbass meatheads need to stick to Avenged Sevenfold and Korn concerts you dumb clowns. Jesus Christ you dumb people make me sad to call myself a human,

Wahhhh i have a seat and cant run into other smelly people. Lets boycott this..if you fucking idiots want to boycott this that means DO NOT GO TO THE SHOW. Yes, I'm very happy about the seating arrangement. You don't have to run around smashing into people just because it's a concert. 13 years ago, Tool might've been that band, but their music has since evolved into something worth enjoying on a different level.

Ok guy, just because i said boycott these seats does not mean i want to mosh. In fact, i dont understand moshing to Tool. I just dont want to sit. Sitting takes away some energy for me.

Tool is one of the most intense bands out there. I've seen them sitting and standing and I have to say the energy of their music hit me more when I was able to move around, not stuck in a seat. I feel more free being able to stand in general admission.

Im sure some people would mosh and whatever, they can do what they want. Dont get all bent out of shape because people interpret the music differnetly. Although i dont get it, im sure some people would want to mosh to Jambi. Fucking let them. What the hell does it matter.

Anyway, i stand by my boycotting of these seats. You'll see me down there. Ill be the guy standing in the aisle or standing by his seat. Join me because sitting just sucks!

You're not going to be expected to sit down during the show. The seats are simply to keep everyone in one place and prevent moshing. You'll be able to stand and rock out in your confined space, just like I'll be doing in the lower bowl seats. You may have people around you that were hoping to actually sit, but they'll be the minority and will stand with the rest of you when they can't see shit. I've been to quite a few TOOL shows at this point and have never been to one where more than 1/4 were actually sitting in their seats.

So, do we want to perform a collective "rain dance" for Pushit? Or maybe even The Pot? I'll be boogyin' until show time.

I have been having a feeling all week!
My feeling is that we will get Third Eye. I know its not gonna happen but for some reason I think that this is gonna be a special show. Anyone else find it odd that this is like the ONLY show sold out in the south east?

Maybe that means something See yall at the show!!

Im very excite!
