The Salival one. It has more power and emotion.

The Salival version is much better. It has more overall energy, voice and instruments-wise, and a helluva lot more bass than the Opiate version. I'd go as far as saying the Opiate version is mediocre in comparison.

Definitely the Salival version, it's a more powerful take of the song....I think anyway.
I can't believe this question was even asked! It's quite obvious that the Salival version of Pushit is a hell of a lot better than the other!

Of course it's not going to feel the same when it's live...have you ever been to a TOOL concert? Well, l can tell you that it's a hell of alot better than listening to the CD...so a live CD is just going to make the songs a hell of a lot better than the regular one.

A live performance always adds at least a little extra oomf to a song, unless the group sucks. But that is of course not the case here. Salival is good for everything. LAMC however is another story.

Well that's just because it was for some reason, unknown to me, placed on the album...it's not even a song, it's just a recording.

Does anyone have any idea why LAMC was placed on this album?

I think LAMC is a great track. It's so fucking horrible. The telephone conversation has got to be one of the most frustrating things I've ever heard. Especially if its genuine. Add the raw, angry noises over the top and you've got music to break things to.

i think L.A.M.C. was placed on there as a piss take (mockery) of the phone system over there.(im not american so i say over there) im not completely sure its genuine though....(secret spy phones.....princess phones?>????????) does anyone know what L.A.M.C. stands for (Los Angeles .............????? )
oh and salival version is better i think too........

lamc is the los angeles municipal court, which is probably what the song is taking the piss out of as opposed to the phone system

I think it is TOOLs view of what California, or at least L.A. is all about. There are a lot of options there, but it sucks to be there, it is aggravating and makes you want to break something.

Definatley Salival, there is much more power in the song and im not sure if thats just because its live or if they changed it up a little and decided to play it live.
Anyone know if they played it differently for the tour salival was recorded on than previous tours.

supposedly Adam Jones had some trouble with the phone system of the LAMC, so they decided to make fun of it. no, it's not a real recording. duh....
