So who the hell has access to the password? Who's in charge of distrubuting it? I've been searching the internet all morning... no luck, obviously....

Kush42
01-26-2007, 09:39 AM
It was only given to those Toolarmy fans that live within one hours drive of the venue.
And no one who has gotten the password for Albequerque or Tucson has shared that info yet.

I say ? authority, & speak for yourself!
also give me the damn password. hehehe!

What's with the reserved seat auction? I've never seen that before.

I guess the Tool Army people will get all the good seats and then sell them on EBay.

LOL...I had this ticket:Section 117 row 6 seat 16, but I let it go because I needed two. I'm going to try on Saturday morning. The presales were in totals of maybe 100 tickets from what I've heard. So we also have to deal with those scum sucking ticket scalpers. TOOL should do what Pearl Jam does for its fan club...you buy tickets and you have to get them at will call with your ID.

MattMan81
01-27-2007, 10:10 AM
Ah, got my floor tickets! Same row that I was in at The Gorge, but still floor seats. Totally looking forward to seeing TOOL again. I just wish that they would come up here for one more show.

They better play Wings/10.000 days and Right in Two...

Crap... I've got too many tickets. Ticketmaster flaked out at 10:02am, so I went to stubhub, paid double, then went back to ticketmaster just to check and got 2 more tickets.

at least the stubhub seats are better, so I won't lose money selling the extras.

the extra ticketmaster ones are sec 115, row 17. stubhub got me to section 103.

I had Section 117 and was stoked, but by the miracle of ticketmaster.. I couldnt log into my account fast enough, forgot my password, had to reset it...blah ended up getting section 102 as a result of somehow getting to the back of the line. Now considering paying scalp prices for better seats (want to see them up close at least once in my life, having allways been somewhat far back the 9 times before. I missed Wings last time by about a week (they started playing it a week after)

Go Tool!

seems like it took about two hours to sell out. The place is small, http://www.visitrenotahoe.com/facilities/reno_events/photo_gallery/. not a bad seat in the house.

01-28-2007, 03:11 PM
Its a very small venue. I picked to sit in the back center because its such a small place and I want to be above the stage so I can see the stage floor. At the Sacramento show I went to they had projections on the stage floor that the lower ticket holders couldn't see. I'm in sec 112, row 8! Tool in a relatively small venue... I'm very excited.

I wonder how/if the set list and stage will change from their earlier part of the tour.

MattMan81
01-28-2007, 04:29 PM
I know that they did a 100 minute show at The Gorge in August...a very short one compared to the 3 hour show they did at the Tacoma Dome in 2002 for the Lateralus tour. I wish I would've went to that show...everyone I know that went to it said that it was worth every penny. I hope that this tour is much more intense and longer. TOOL has such a rabid fanbase...they should be extremely honored for this. Let's hope that this second tour exceeds all of our expectations.

I bought two tickets too many and was wondering if anybody is interested.

Here are the details.

If you need more info let me know.
I ordered the tickets when they went on sale, on Saturday, so I do not have the tickets yet. If you are interested, let me know and as soon as I get them you can come to pick them up if you are in Reno.

Seat location: section 106, row 10, seats 11-12
Total Charge: $126.85

If you need the tickets shipped you will pay the shipping and the cost of the tickets through paypal.

I would prefer to have the person pick them up, if possible, considering I want to avoid the hassle of the post office and avoid more fees, i.e paypal (ticketmaster screwed me already)
These were the 52.50 plus ticketmaster fee, so they are face value.

I have the post on a couple of different not tool related forums, so if you want them let me know.

I got two floor tickets, but almost lost everything, because girlfriend told me to give up tickets and look for better ones. luckily I managed to get some.

Any word on an opening band?

MattMan81
01-29-2007, 10:27 AM
Here's the thing...when you try to buy tickets, have two or three separate windows open to the TicketNazi page. Get your first tickets set up and then try the other couple of windows really quick, but keep track of the time that you're using because you only have about 1 minute to waste on each page. If you find better seats than your first try, sign in on your TicketNazi account (this gives you 3 minutes to hold your tickets) and keep trying to get better seats. When it appears that you can't get better seats, start the process of purchasing your tickets.

Due to an injury suffered by one of the band members, the Tool concert is being rescheduled!

Hold onto your tickets as they will be good for the new date once it is announced!

Have you been in touch with amtrak since that bridge went up in smoke near Cal Expo?
I've taken it to the bay a couple times it's O.K. I guess, but make sure you have the time to do it and make sure you know where it drops you off and how to get from there to the show etc. Once your in Reno your at the mercy of public transportation which will cost you more. If your going to party a bunch or staying longer for than just the show I guess it's good, but for time and money sake do the drive.

No I haven't called them since the terrence burned down, but as I understand it the train is still in operation.

The train drops off 2 blocks from the Hotel we're staying at, which is ONE block from the Reno Events center :P VERY easy.

Still debating whether or not to pony up the $160...

"Good evening Reno. Are you prepared to have some fun? Let us clarify what we mean by fun..."

Did anyone go to the last Reno show in 02'?

I went to the last Tool show in Reno which was at the Lawlor Events Center at UNR. It was an all GA show and the place was only about half full. What I remember most is that the sound was insanely loud and crappy. The highlight of the show was Third Eye.

When I heard that Tool was playing Reno again I didn't get too excited, figuring it would be at the same venue, plus I couldn't make the original date. But now that the show has been moved to 4/30 and is actually at the Reno Events Center, I need to find my way to Reno.

If anyone has 2 extras they need to get rid of, I would appreciate the consideration.

-Thanks

The time approaches!

I have FOUR tickets available for the 4/30 Reno show. They are Section 103, Row 14, Seats 11-14. $63 a piece (my cost), or $250 if you buy all four together (a HUGE $2 discount!)

The tickets are E-tickets. I'd be more than happy to email the PDF if you buy all four or mail the printed out tickets to you. I understand that there is some risk with E-tickets, so I can also meet you in Oakland, CA (or somewhere nearby) or at the show itself so you can see that I'm a trustworthy Tool fan. PM me and we'll set it up.

Seating chart at: http://media.ticketmaster.com/en-us/tmimages/venue/maps/nca/14415s.gif

btw, I did see the '02 Reno show - I'm very excited to see them in this smaller venue with hopefully much better sound.

Thanks,
Tom

Have a pair of Giants tix in the first row of the Bleachers, Sec 139, Row 00, rest your elbows on top of the left field wall, drop your peanut shells on the warning track, just above the "i" in the Bud Light sign. Mostly midweek games, have about 15 to choose from late July-Sept. Will trade 1 pair for 1 Tool Reno ticket. PM if interested.
