it's "divide and you'll wither her away." see them live if you don't believe me.
look at the word benevolent. hyperdictionary defines it as "generous in assistance to the poor," "generous in providing aid to others," and "intending or showing kindness." sound femine? does to me. doesn't sound like a son, at all.
maybe somebody can help me out with citations on this, but i think of the masculine as the will, and the feminine as respect for the wills of others, though not when it comes to equal rights or anything, i mean internally. i always thought this song was about the respect for the wills of others that this world needs right now, a respect that runs counter to the selfishness sung about earlier in the song.
