The 'Third Eye' reference

Was reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson and in the book they mention the Pineal Gland. Not knowing what it was I did a search on Google and came up with some rather interesting information. The Pineal Glad is in the geometric center of your brain and is a tiny conical shaped organ that regulates circadian rhythms, it is also referred to as the 'Third Eye' in some texts and referred to as the link between our physical self and the spiritual world. Scope these links. Read them carefully, they do have a lot of interesting things to think about.

soberpenis, I wouldn't subject you to the tortures of a rollo sauteed with garlic and butter....it sounds too rancid. Here...*tosses him another pack* just enjoy'em out of the wrapper. The red one's are good....

On another note, is the Fear and Loathing book as f*cked up as the movie? Presumably better? I watched the movie sober and honestly felt pretty damn well f*ckered up afterwards. They really conveyed all the things I would love to stay away from in a trip *grin*

My pineal gland would probably march out my nose on strike until I got my shit straightened out.

Yes the book is just as fubared as the movie is. Maybe more. The movie did a good job of sticking to the book aside from some places that just couldn't be added into the movie due to how they would've had to act and plan it out. Most major bookstores carry it, I highly recommend picking it up. It only took me about a day to read it. Not very long but a good read nonetheless. It is one of those books where you read it again and always find something funny or different.
