The song "Undertow" has taken on a new personal meaning for me in the last few months. I have come to interpret this song in many ways, the most recent of which is its significance to my drug (heroin mostly) addiction. It almost seems like Maynard is speaking from a euphoric state when he exclaims "I'm so comfortable, too comfortable" for I feel like I know from experience what he is implying.
This as well as many other Tool songs, videos, etc. have made my life a little better. Thank you Maynard, Justin, Danny, Adam and all the other members of the Tool camp simply for what they do and who they are

Undertow is a very nice song indeed! I think it can not only be about drugs, but other addictions too. Good thing you listened to them, since their name "Tool" represtents a tool for happiness.. or something.. hehe read the FAQ.

Don't get sucked back down into the undertow. =)
