Somewhere I read that there will be a re-release of Salival at the end of the year/at the beginning of next year. I'm very hopeful that this is true. What do you think about it?

I haven't heard this but would be estatic if it's true as I never got my hands on one the first time around. If anyone has an unopened or very gently used box set and wants to sell it, PM me.

I read it in a german Tool forum. The person who posted the idea of a re-release there proved it with a link to this page:

yeah its been posted a few times...i really really hope it's true, i'll buy another one if they release it. It would be sweet if they remastered it and bumped up the quality...it's kind of lacking in that department, i always wished the videos had a higher bitrate.

Did anyone else notice the price though "£14.99 Delivered"
They surely cant sell the boxset for that amount! After all the original cost nearly $50

Well, £15 is about $29 USD. The original was $39.99 but keep in mind that it came in a big box. I'd guess that a rerelease would be just in a standard digipack or something.

Or like Solaris said, maybe the CD only.

I haven't heard anything about this being re-released but they would sell a ton if it ever is.

My guess is that it wont come in such a large package. They have to justify the reduced cost compared to the original somehow, im not sure what else they can do.

have no idea where I heard it but I think Salival is being re-released on New Year's Day 2007. I would be interested to know how many are being released. I also heard they would be available at a much lower price, although I didn't pay much for mine first time around, but I can't see it being anythign other than the original CD and DVD.

this would be good...how the hell do you find the thing, i havent seen it anywhere
