If you say Stinkfist is about an addict and his drug, then you can clearly hear the difference between the addict and the drug "speaking/singing".

When Maynard sings through the megaphone, it's the drug that is trying to convince the addict with a "soft voice" that it can give him relief from his boredom. But the more he uses the drug, the more desensitized he gets and the higher dose he needs to "feel" something again.

So the theory is kinda supported by the way Maynard sings this song. Although it could be simply for reasons of making the verses more quiet (and hence the chorus louder and more intense).

What do you guys think about this?
