i dont know what relation this has to the song 'the pot' but obviously it has some.

the pot is/was black....from old days...the cooking pot..kettle was black. If you're loser...and wave your finger around and point out other loosers...you're the pot calling the kettle black...works the same for numerous other sins or whatever of course.
