I do think the song is about Maynard and some parts about his son. I think he is saying that he would wish away his money and fame for the sake of his son. there is deffinitely a better thread discussing this theory, the argument is compelling

Good call. Been to Jerome twice, the first time on my Sedona Honeymoon.

Pics are great actually and brought back memories. The Haunted Hamburger is a nice joint in Jerome. As well as the renovated brothel...
