i dunno if anyone noticed this but i thought it was cool...during the quieter, beginning part of the "shine on" part, the guitar is playing a rhythm in that resolves in 6, and the bass playing a part that resolves in 9. then maynard sings "shine on till the two become one", both parts resolve on the same beat and then they play together for the rest of the "shine on" part.

Nice observation. Just goes to show you that the music has as much meaning behind it as the lyrics. Now why the talkbox?

"jambi" and "right in two" are connected some way, im not sure yet, but i can feel it in my head.


it has to do with two becoming to one in "jambi", and then dividing again in "right in two"

i actually also saw the other day that in the same part i talked about in the first post, the guitar is way to one side of the stereo thing and the bass is way right, and then when the "two become one" everything comes back to normal
