Yes, I think that all of the viewpoints are valid and that the song is useful in everyday life. However, this does not allways mean that over thinking is bad. Thinking in any form confirms that you are alive, and your body is the physical proof of your life. This song is also about the way that life always changes(i think), much like a lateral spiral. You often find your self back in the same places or with the same people after thinking you have them totally set behind you.
While their are other nuances in the song which hint toward the spiral "theory"(if you will), I'll let you discover them yourself, only you can create a true self-interpertation of this beautiful, emotional moving, and visceral tune.
