Something a little weird happened tonight, I felt I should share
Tonight, I was talking with my girlfriend who doesn't listen to Tool at all. I dont remember what exactly we were talking about, dreams or religion or some combination of the two.
And she starts telling me about this memory she has which is really her first "memory", if that's what it in fact was.
In it, she was in this incredibly warm and comfortable place. It was like no place that she's experienced in her life. There, as she described it, she was "sitting on the lap of God". Although, she said neither this God thing or herself had a body and also said that she wasn't alone. Apparently she was accompanied by other "souls".
So she pretty much described exactly what my interperation was of a lot of the subject matter in Parabol/a
Anyway, I told her to go listen to the song and read the lyrics since and that she might find it interesting. So she did, and she did. hooray.
