I think the content of viginti tres represents the sound of existence's expansion from the point of view of something larger and more enduring than it. I've come to believe that time is relative. I'd imagine the few days of life a bug has feels like our whole lifetime, even though its just a drop compared to our bucket. This song is the bucket and each pulse is the drip. Like everything else I've experienced it begins without warning, ends before you know it, and has unpredictable durations. As above so below. I'm just guessing but I think the voice is the Faaip de Oiad, maybe the universe in which we came to rise. Apart from what its supposed to be what it actually sounds like is the sound of a flame or fire extinguisher or both tweaked as only Tool can.
