we all have a tendency to lie to make our selves look better. Its human nature. we do it to gain poularity, or power i mean look at the presidents. They lie abou tax cuts and shit all the time. i think this song is about the tendency people have to lie to better themselves some how. Saying they did, or will do something just to better themselves never actually doing it.
