Same here dude. Some friends and I were supposed to go to the Columbus show as a road trip but that didn't work out one bit...then I heard on The X about Tool coming to Pittsburgh and it was like God threw a coupon at me.

Should be a good show. Peterson is a small venue so it should be a very intimate experience. I saw APC at the Palumbo Center and it felt very relaxed and personal.

Just got totally f'ed by ticketbastard once again!!!!! Arghhh! had sec 2 row N, entered the credit card and it filed for a couple of seconds and then popped up a screen that they were unable to process my request!!! customer service "has no record of my order"....

My friends girlfriend went at 6 AM to get tickets at Ticketmaster...we could have gotten great floor seats, however we JUST got an addition to our group of 6 and had 7 people going so we got fucked over. I'll let you guys know what my seats are whenever I find out...

ry.. where are you sitting in the RISER section? That's not a horrible area unless of course you REALLY wanted the floor. LOL.. My wife and I are just getting old I guess. We prefer seats as opposed to getting pushed around on the floor.

For me it's about the music... sit there and absorb the wonderful sound of Tool.

Good luck! I hope you make it back in time. I doubt you would have a hard time selling them. I just checked ticketmaster for the hell of it, and it looks like this is going to be a sold out show. Tickets are gettiing really thin! The best I could find are sec 207 row G.

Hi all. I've never been to this venue and a friend and I both got 2 pairs of tickets online for section 101 row J and floor 4 row N. I'm about 5'8 and was wondering if anyone had information on the views from both sections. Thanks

The view should be pretty good from any location considering that this place was built for Basketball games. I would only worry if you had seats on the floor. Being 5'8 myself I know the feeling of struggling to find a sweet spot in-between someone elses shoulders!

Section 101? It looks like you're good to go based on the seating chart.

4 Floor 1 tickets!!!!! I waited in line at the box office since 7 this morning, so I was first in line. I'm sorry for those who got fucked by Ticketmaster online. I learned my lesson last time on buying tickets online.
I parked my butt in front of the gated "service-master" machine at 5am and I too was first in line when they opened. I wouldn't have done it for any other band.
Oh and I am on the floor w/ ya. :)

I think this was tool's call to make, in 2001 there were no seats at CSU but 2002 at the gund arena there were seats

BTW is this show sold out yet?I checked ticketmaster and they are selling seats way in the back in the 200 level, are these the last seats left or are there still seats on the upper lever on the sides?

The show isn't sold out yet, but to be sure if seats are available on the upper sides I would either visit the nearest Ticketmaster outlet or call them to check if tickets are available in the sections you are looking for. If you haven't figured it out by now, online Ticketmaster blows.

I searched the second they went on sale for three tickets and got three for section 6H and was happy with that, but the second I searched for more I got two for floor and couldn't resist buying those ones, too. Hopefully the concert sells out so I can get face value for the 3 from actual fans before going to a scalper.

I dont know of ANY venue that allows you to smoke inside....but the minute TOOL hit the stage in Detroit....the lights went down...and you could smell the POT flowing through the air immediately....lol.

Anyway.....I heard that there is a club in Pittsburgh called TOUCH NIGHTCLUB. They are suppose to be having a TOOL Tribute Band perform that night for those who could not get tickets and also for an after concert show for those that want to listen to more of TOOLs music after the actual concert.

I persnally think that is super cool!!!! I may have to go check them out after the concert....what a night....TOOL LIVE then more TOOL from a tribute band....sounds pretty cool to me. And yes...I heard these guys are really good...they are from Ohio....I'll find out their name and post it on here for those that may be interested in checking them out!

yeah..I saw the article about the shooting...you can do a web search of TOUCH NIGHTCLUB and read it......pretty freaky if you ask me. Oh well...I'm sure it was a one time lesson learned from the venue to have better security and metal detectors or something. I'm still gonna go...anyone else gonna check them out?

Anyone upset that Tool removed Sober from the set list and replaced it with Wings PT 1 and 10,000 Days?

Personally I think 10,000 Days is one of the most personal and touching songs they've ever done, and I wasn't expecting Maynard to perform it at all.

However, I love Sober and will miss hearing it. I would rather they remove Schism. To me it's one of their more "radio friendly" songs.
