I disagree with a lot of the negative posts regarding song. Its a wonderful statement about the band's legal troubles and the sad state of affairs in today's current music scene. (There are probably many other deeper meanings in this song.) And even though the song is heavy, indisputably heavier than anything else on the album (although the Grudge can be heavy too, especially live in concert) it is musically very sound and complex. The song is a throwback to the anger of Hooker with a Penis on Aenima, and has a similar tone to much of the Opiate EP. But its not as simplistic as anything on Opiate. Its not just a couple-chord metal song that's over in three minutes. It explores much more ground, with a lot of contrast and excellent musicianship. This song is perhaps the quintessential Tool song-- sounding like an Opiate song redone in the more mature Lateralus phase of Tool's career, the song displays the entire spectrum of what Tool has done while releasing the frustrations of the wait involving in making the album the song appears on.
