As with all Tool songs the deeper you go the more you find. This song reminds me very much of the book of Revelation in the Bible.
One man, being shown so much, it sounds so unbelieveable, this message which is so hard to believe is a message of hope for those who believe it and a warning to those who don't. I find that pretty cool.
I am not saying that this is the die hard meaning of the song, but it sounds like it in my mind.
