Does anyone know Tool's interpratation of the burning eye? I have my own ideas, but have they ever told theirs? What do you guys think it symbolizes if anything? To me i think of it as pain is an illusion. But mainly because i've been burned. And ofcourse Parabola.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think its called an Aethyr, in occultism, a gate to another dimension. I'm not positive because I looked it up a few years ago.
