Competative Nature? Something to ponder.

I was at the race tracks the other day watching the Utah Grand Prix. I couldn't help but think that the guy in 3rd place on the last two laps was thinking--Forty Six & 2 is just ahead of me.

well, this isn't really about the full meaning of the song.
people allmost destroyed themselves (nuclear weapons, cold war) because of a competative instinct between two presidents.
your thought, though is something to think about, is, in my opinion, wrong.
i think the song is about evolving or de-evolving, because people are so intolerant, not like before, and they only think about achieving their goal before some one else.
before 10,000 years, when people only lived in tribes, they SPARED the sick or mad ones, not like now.
