Anyone know what it is supposed to mean? I've been pondering this for a while now, and was wondering what other people make of it.
The only connection I can make to any Tool song is Third Eye, what with the lyric 'You thought that I had run away, chasing the tail of dogma', which I interpreted as suggesting that the human brain has been so involved and overtaken by religion for so long that it can no longer think for itself, and must now rely on religious beliefs and ultimately GOD to think for it. Hence the God In The Brain in the artwork of... Lateralus? (I still think it's a very fucking cool piece of artwork though)
