ive read alot of posts on this forum concerning maynard his son and many other in close relation to him but i never see any questions or comments concerning his wife... or ex-wife or girlfriend i am not sure of the history

this only recently comes to my attention because when i was listening to Jambi last night i had a new thought concerning the lyrics..

personally i think the song is about his son(sun) but if this is so perhaps Devo's Mother is also a factor

I've been saying if it is about a person, it sounds most to me like is must be about his fiancé/ wife/ ex whatever since the beginning. I don't think this song is about his mom or his son.
