Hypocrites! "Liar, lawyer, mirror, foyer what's the difference" I believe is the second time maynard sings that line. Lawyers lie, liar's lie. Mirrors make a room SEEM bigger, foyers make bigger rooms.

I've been wondering what the line, "You piss all over my my black kettle" means, Call me stupid.

I think its "mirror for ya", as in liar, lawyer, here is a mirror, look at yourself, whats the difference?

:) no it doesn't, it would be cute if it did tho, still Maynard is always 'rhyming' words that don't perfectly rhyme, you kinda have to otherwise your severely limited

What do u mean it doesnt rhyme? My whole post? Obviosly not! or the "mirror for ya" bit as in the lyrics, cos MJK makes it rhyme ok in my ears.

(i think) he means lawyer rhymes with foyer but not with 'for ya'...

I guess technically it doesnt, but it works ok for me in the song. Makes more sense than foyer!?!? As in entrance or hallway??!?

it's called a SLANT rhyme.

and the FOYER thing...

it still makes no sense --- you can stretch the analogy all you want, yet "liar:lawyer is to mirror:foyer" is completely incongruous no matter how you want to spin it.

Click both megaphone icons. (http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/foyer) The word actually has three pronunciations:
Foi-er
Foi-yay
Fwah-yay.
