Pushit is my all time favorite Tool song and I see it as follows. I think Maynard is trying to give the hint that this song is about himself but with the roles reversed. He would be the one pushing and shoving so to speak. I say this because Maynsrd is a fan of change and growth, I think. And the way the song changes and grows sorta says to me that Maynard was "pushing" something away seeing the gap between them. but as the song grows they seem to come together. I get this impression mostly from the music. Im a guitarist so the music of Tool plays almost a bigger part than lyrics. but as the song grows the lyrics and guitar kinda become one wich gives me the coming together idea. But this is just my idea, tell me what you think. and Hello to all.
