Fuck all naysayers, this track is fucking awesome, beautiful, and mad trippy. Recommend me something else like this.

I suppose you mean mellow, ambient stuff.
First of all, check out the post rock genre, if you haven't. Bands like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Sigur Ros, Mono, Explosions in the Sky, Do Make Say Think, and Fly Pan Am are post rock. You have heavier post-rock-like bands like Isis and Pelican, too.
For more traditional rock bands who use thick mellow bass and ambience, check out:
June of 44 (notably the album "Four Great Points")
The Melvins (notably on albms "Stag," "Stoner Witch," and "The Bootlicker")
Sonic Youth
Slint (the album "Spiderland")
You have prog-rock trippiness in Pink Floyd and King Crimson, and electronic droning ambience such as Tim Hecker and Lustmord, and drone rock like Sunn O))) and Boris.
This stuff isn't exactly like Tool's lighter work (Intension, Disposition, etc.), but it has many of the elements, and you should be into it.

To elaborate on Champion's post, check out late 80's and 90's King Crimson, and the Robert Fripp/Brian Eno colaborations.

Funnily enough the intro to this song reminded me of Radiohead's later works.

Seconded. I would also add Boards of Canada to that list simply because I dont think anyone else really sounds like them on the planet. They use analog sounds which give it a late 70s feel like you are watching something from your childhood. I absolutely love them. It has a similar sort of ambient progression and electronic beats...
also Mogwai, of course.

The Bends > Pablo Honey.
Alice in Chains
I agree. Somebody once posted a thread in this forum about the song reminding them of alice in chains, and before I could respond, a mod replied with "no" ad the thread disappeared soon after.
It reminds me a lot of "Brother", but I've only heard the MTV unplugged version.

Radiohead was a better traditional rock band than they were a progressive rock band.

Salutations to the guy in Teheran posting on this board, information leads the way intellectual freedom!
ps I feel almost ashamed still naming some of my favourite other bands but if u can pick it up in Teheran listen to 'Explosions in the sky'. They're from Texas, showing you that not all bad things come from the south...

Notice that the guy only made two posts. I hope he is not in an Iranian prison for using the internet to subvert Allah's love.

I can't believe I didn't say that. That group is as close to this song as a single group can get.

If you get a great vibe from Intension, I would suggest Portishead ( both albums, Dummy and the eponymous).
Massive Attack...Mezzanine.
Like a previous poster...Aphex Twin...hard to listen to...but worth the effort and 3 months of ..." What the fuck is this guy on?".
Sigur Ros, for sure.
Just a few recommendations...if Intension is right up your alley.
