self explanatory

the patient is pretty much self explanatory in a metaphorical sense.he's getting the blood (what have you) sucked out of him by someone.and the only reason he's staying is because he thinks he's going to get something out of it or else he "certainly would have walked away by now" but hes going to wait it out and be patient, "but i still may".im pretty sure somone already wrote about this in here, but i thought id put my version of it.

we're supposed to get something out of everything we do in life. why do you go to school? to get an education which can be used to get a good job. why get a good job? so you can support a family. why support a family? because you love them and love is usualy the ultimate goal.

patience is a virtue. anything that is worth having is worth waiting for.
