You don't go to heaven or hell when you die, its more metaphorical;

"Ten thousand days in the fire is long enough, you're going home."

10,000 days in the fire (fire, means "Hell") is long enough, you are going home; "Heaven" you are going.

It's all merely his personal beliefs that are nothing compared to the mass sheep of people, these are not unique nor is he telling you such way as to be egotistical or boastful about his beliefs being different; not evening telling you that it is alright to have these beliefs but rather the vibe is that it is alright to have the belief, although maybe arrogant, the wings they give you set you free.

"Oh, what are they going to do when the lights go down
Without you to guide them all to Zion?
What are they going to do when the rivers overrun
Other than tremble incessantly?"

His belief, the earth was not flooded as the bible says.

"Ignorant fibbers in the congregation
Gather around spewing sympathy,
Spare me.
None of them can even hold a candle up to you.
Blinded by choices, hypocrites won't [seek / see]."

they follow choices they are told to follow, in the church, they are all ignorant.
Blabber shit about how god has sympathy, if they can't hold a candle up to you, how are they going to enlighten you with their beliefs; thus they are blinded by their ignorant choices.

It essentially makes him sick.

"Daylight dims leaving cold fluorescence.
Difficult to see you in this light.
Please forgive this bold suggestion:
Should you see your Maker's face tonight,
Look Him in the eye, look Him in the eye, and tell Him:
I never lived a lie, never took a life, but surely saved one.
Hallelujah, it's time for you to bring me home."

Celestial enlightenment.
