i still am confused about how to pronounce this title. lots of people thinks its
jam-bee, or jam-bye. although the word jamb is pronounced with the b silent. therefore it could be pronounced jam-eye. jamb is the frame that doors fit into. any comments on any meaning of the possible change in pronounceation?

Even though I think he says Jambi eyes in the song (jam-bye), I still pronounce the song Jawm-bee.

lol...good point...I thought it was like the "JA" in JAMAICA...but it has some other symbols over that pronunciation.

back to square one I guess...LOL...sorry.

click the little speaker, it pronounces it for you. It is like the Ja in Jamaica. Jahm-bee. (the first syllible has an "o" sound)

Letter "A" with 2 dots above it is pronounce "Ahh" and in reference to the Indonesian province, and the idea that its a reference to the root word "jamb" meaning (like door jamb) a vertical post for support, I have concluded that is it pronounced "Jahm-bee"---just like the genie on PeeWee's playhouse....not to belittle the song or anything

I pronouce it Jahm-bee. Not sure if its proper pronounciation or not. The songs rock thats all I know and can't wait to see it live!!!!

Well this makes sense with all the argument about when he says "Dim my eyes, Jambi eyes, Damn my eyes...I've been thinking he was saying "jam my eyes" the second time...if the "B" is silent that would make perfect sense as I've never made out a B sound.
