I think T&L is in the perfect place for this album. The reason being, that its an abraisive and maddening song. As such, the fact that it dosent flow makes it MORE effective. This about it.
Parabol... Calm, Pondering
Parabola... A sort of journey. Not angry in any way. It climaxes to huge energies, but by the end you feel calm again.
BAM. You get hit with the raw rage od T&L in the face. Its completely unexpected, its loud, and it sounds insane (well, at least Maynard sounds like a complete lunitic). It captures the essence of Rage so perfectly. Its sudden, abraisive, maddening. In the end, it goes away, and we move on. Were past the anger, now we can continue our journey. But we had to release the anger before continuing, or the rest of the journey would be pointless.
