Okay so obviously the drug references are clearly there, but I'd like to bring up something else.

The riff that Adam plays @ about 3 minutes into the song is exactly the same as the riff in Third Eye (from Aenema of course) when James goes "of dogma,.. of dogma, ... of dogma" etc

Has anyone else noticed this as well or am making this up?

take care weesper

seems to me to be a deliberate nod to third eye... what with the drugs subject matter and all..

Agreed. Saying its a rehash is just too cynical and lazy.

Its eerily similar ,but in a very good way. Its a lot like a nostalgic reward to us listeners.
I enjoy hearing it.

Before going off tap;
paka paka weaow, paka paka weaow, paka

No....it's not....the same.

Different time signature
Different register
Many different notes (where's the A or the F in the Third Eye riff of which you speak?)

Just because something reminds you of something else doesn't mean it's the same. Listen.

Don't bring musical knowledge into this! You're supposed to be ignorantly bashing Tool!

Honestly, I was never reminded of Third Eye in this song. And none of the parts of either song really align, like Aguirre said.

near the middle it is, but is different at the same time...because there is one more note added than in Third-Eye...
