Am I going wrong about this, or is Tool going to play such a huge venue such as this? I mean it's an olympic stadium and all. It just seems weird to me, knowing their reach isn't that huge, or have I been living under a rock?

37,000 American troops in Korea plus another 100,000 Canuckleheads, Aussies, Kiwis, Brits, and other Americans should provide a good chunk of the audience...not to mention that metal is large in Korea and the natives will buy plenty of tickets.
