Details of our ending

I always wondered about the lyric:
"Please believe what I just said, see they're telling to us..."

It makes sense but the the 'telling' just doesnt sound right when you listen to the song. Is it possible that he is saying:

"Please believe what i Just said, see they're tattling to us..."

It makes even more sense given the defenition of tattle (To reveal the plans or activities of another). Especially given the fact that they are revealing to him "the details of our ending"

I know this isn't a big deal but listen again and see if you can hear 'tattling'.
