Could the mystery man be Paul d'Amour?

Rosetta Stone was made in 196 b.c. and discovered in 1799

1799
+196=
______
1995

1995 was the year that Paul d'Amour left the band.......

Wow. Well I'd be amazed if that wasn't a cooincidence. But my question is, how did you come up with that? Was 1995 a date you came up with, the came the name, or was it vice versa?

Paul D'amour has nothing to do with this band at this time.

An interesting and creative interpretation, but I think you're reading a little too much into the numbers and all. Then again, this is Tool...

the album is titled '10,000' days, there are '11' tracks on this record, if we divide 10,000 into 11 we get 909, if we flip that number upside down we have 606, now if we replace the '0' with a '6' omfg we have the number of the beast. Tool are indeed evil. ;)

don't look so much into the numbers. the only number Tool care about is the #1 (which is where this album debuted on the billboard charts)

Damn you're good... you're acually right on this theory.

I thought Blair had mentioned that neither he nor Maynard were dead, and that disqualified them from being the narrator of this story. Is Paul d'Amour dead? No. So, I doubt this connection.

Well, the Rosetta Stoned might not have been made in 196 B.C. That's just one of many estimates, which range from like 500 B.C. to 0 A.D.

Wow yes, two completely unrelated dates ARE somehow related to Paul, good catch!
