Question regarding Aenima packaging

Ok, when I go to ebay and type in "tool + rare", it ALWAYS pops up with a few actual rare CDs, and then a lot of the Aenima Cds described as "ultra-rare holographic cover", but every Aenima cd I have ever seen has the holographic cover. Is there another holographic packaging that I'm not aware of? Is there any non-holographic packaging?

The holographic packaging is advertised as rare but in fact is not. Yes there is a non-holographic packaging, which contains a bunch of fake Tool albums, such as 'Crap steaks for dictators' and 'Live at the Jelly Donut'.

The non-holographic is the import version.

i hated the lenticular case

the one with the fake covers is awesome... i traded w/ a friend in NZ for hers

The lenticular case was limited edition but in fact was printed in more copies originally than the non-limited edition cover with the fake albums inside.

I own both versions and I think I also prefer the version with the fake albums. Maybe because it's my first copy.

I only have the lenticular case. That is because I am working on my TOOL collection, though. I borrowed all of their albums from a friend, and then I fell in love with them. Then 10,000 Days came out, I bought that, then I bought Lateralus and Ænima. I'm buying Undertow next.
