AS in what instruement? Or as in what notes? He is playing his mandala pads for that little bebop noise if thats what you mean...

Sorry i meant the 16th on the kicks and the tom (things) part of the start. I can't work out how hes playing it.

when he first comes in, its on the floor toms mixed with bass drum. I can't play it, its just easier to pick up on it. then at the intro of the lyrics, he uses the electronic pads im pretty sure

oh, well....he's playing the single-stroke-four rhythm with a few bass drum notations directly afterward (off the top of my head, this seems correct)...but again, I can't play it myself.
