The first of many...

Well, I got kind of bored with the Socialize section, which is where I have wasted the better part of my life for the last 3 months. So, here is my first of what will probably be a bunch of poems/songs posted on here....


It's called "p" ....

How can I respect the ones
who don't respect themselves?
How can I withdraw myself
from those who search me out?
How can I deny you?
You who throw yourselves at me like a child
seeking shelter from the storm

Confide in cold comfort
Till the feeling takes control
Though secret, is naked and raw
Bareing the deepes hollows of the soul

In love with the abuse
In love with how its holding me,
Forcing me under
I'm tying my own noose
In love with how it touches me,
Touches me so strong


Momentary Ecstasy
Makes every bit of purgatory
More than worth the effort
A price I'm willing to pay

Thanks. At first I was a little wary of putting this poem as my first on the forum, because I thought it sounded too much like a Maynard rip off. But I knew you guys would understand.

It's easy to figure out that I was listening to pushit a lot when this was penned ("In love with the abuse....in love with how it touches me...etc.)

It's not necessarily about abuse, its actually about guilty pleasures. More specifically, its about the porn industry(hence the tit'le "p") Thats enough insight.
