10 right in two •

Angels on the sideline,
Puzzled and amused.
Why did Father give these humans free will?
Now they're all confused.

>Donkey's talking, monkey's looting (Eden) even though there's enough to go around <
Plenty in this holy garden, silly monkeys
Where there's one you're bound to divide it
Right in two

Angels on the sideline,
Baffled and confused.
Father bless them all with a reason
cause this is what they choose?

Monkey killing monkey killing monkey over pieces of the ground.
Silly monkeys give them thumbs they forge a blade
And where there's one they're bound to divide it
Right in two

Monkey killing monkey killing monkey over pieces of the ground.
Silly monkeys give them thumbs they make a club,
And beat their brother down.

How they survive so misguided is a MYSTERY.
Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability,
To lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here.

Cutt it all right in two (69)
Cut it all right in two )69)
Cutting our love right in two [69]

Fight over the clouds, over wind, over sky
Fight over lies, over blood, over anything
Fight over love, over sun, over anything
Fight till they die,
(Ahhh!) over what? for their (10 grand) ending

Angels on the sideline again, are here
[Mixing love with patience or reason.
Angels on the sideline again,
Wondering where this tug of war will end.

[Cutting it all right in two
/ Cut it all right in two]
/ Cutting our love right in two]

(i know you do, til death do us part)

Not sure how reciting the lyrics shows your understanding of the song but to each his own.

On a more serious note:

DONKEY"S TALKING???

Come on Shrek, did you consider "Don't these talking monkeys know that Eden has enough to go around."

seems to fit slightly better in the context of the song

Man Superman, you're a real acehole when your dunked...

my understanding of the song is zero...

i was only posting this cause the bloody lyric section asked for help... maybe i posted to the wrong section but i figure for those who care about what other people hear, i would post what i heard and they would find it....

i don't give a rat's ass what people think i think... so i apologize for receiving such a seemingly refined and enlightened perspective with a little resentment... i don't take any offense... certainly i would like to just keep my opinion more to myself which is pretty much for the best since we'll all come to our own conclusions eventually....
maybe i should be taking more ANTi- His tA mines... or maybe i should wait for my 10k days to be up and the world will sort out the truth Herself....

and if i haven't condemned myself yet, i guess i will give my opinion on the "donkey's talking"... simply put donkey, like a mule, more preferabbly... a Jack Ass... or maybe a fool (thoth tarot)... adds an element of understanding to what the song really is about (in my ogre-esque opinion)... if you don't have multiple layers, then you aren't an On(e)-Ion

thanks for the challenge.... urs truly... a Jackass...

Sorry dude,

Upon further review, I guess there was no reason for my comments. Everyone is welcome to their opinions. Keep on posting.

I think this song is very deep and shows that Maynard views the world as driven by selfish and evil people. There are those who strive to overcome the weakness' of the natural man, but most fail.

This song is great.
