A fine vocalist I work with informed me that Bill is singing in 'Micro Tones' or what 'could' be called 1/8 steps. Which is 'nearly' impossible to duplicate on a guitar. On a piano, each key is 1/2 step progression within the octave from key to key (something I didn't know). He not only does it once but each time coming right in on this 1/8 step mark - which is apparently highly difficult vocally and unheard in tradional western music.
I don't really know how this will solve anything - but I, however, found it interesting.
Just like everything else - there must be 'something' to it.
