I am not sure as I do not have Saliva right infront of me, but could someone investigate the live Pushit version and compare it with the tabla in right in two. I am fairly certain they are the exact same. Even Adams open string introduction to Danny is involved in this song..What do you guys think?

Yeah I was just going by memory, the way Adam hits the open string is the same though....correct?

similar notes.... Adam's sweet spot is down there on the 5th/7th frets of the D and G. Im sure it might be in the same time signature too, and the drums match. Theyre similar... yet very different at the same time.

yeah i thought they sounded familliar once it was pointed out...going by memory of both. But once listened to, they do sound quite a bit different.

Yeah, they're different but I thought of "Pushit" live the first time I heard "RIT". Just another element of this album that summarizes past efforts.

different time sigs. the songs are completely different.

they are different, But I don't think its out of the question that the jam is influenced. Maybe they had the idea for it a while back, threw it into pushit, and brought it back and made it fit.

It is not rare for a band to come out with similar music a number of years later in a completely new jamming session, as opposed to just lifting it from earlier on.

Definately not the same. And the Pushit live tabla on Salival wasn't performed by Danny

When I heard Pushit live a bit far away, my brother was at the computer playing it in another room, I thought it was Right in Two backwards.
